Our Story.

Cor blimey, as a nipper growin’ up in Suffolk, some of me fondest memories were our trips up the smoke to good ol’ London. Me mum and her side of the family were proper Londoners, so we’d often head dahn there, sometimes just for a plate of the finest Traditional Pie & Mash off Arments.
I tell ya, I was mad for it then, and I’m still mad for it now – you just can’t beat it, can ya? Fast forward a few years, and now I’ve got me own brood – a lovely wife and a bunch of kids. Well, it didn’t take long to get ‘em hooked on the same tasty tradition. We make a proper day of it when we go up London, all pile in for a bit o’ Pie & Mash, and now they’re as potty about it as I am. I’m hopin’ they’ll keep the tradition alive with their own families one day, passin’ it down like a right treasure.


Now, I’ve spent me whole professional life graftin’ in hospitality – pubs, stadiums, you name it – and I’ve always dreamed of havin’ me very own Pie & Mash gaff. Well, 2025’s the year, ain’t it? I’ve decided to make it happen, and I’ve teamed up with the absolute legends of the trade – Arments, the best Pie & Mash shop in all of London, no doubt about it.
With T’s Traditional Pie & Mash, I wanna do more than just serve food – I wanna celebrate the heritage, the culture, the proper London way of doin’ things. But, being a modern fella, I’m throwin’ in a cheeky twist here and there to keep it fresh. So, come January, we’ll be open in Ipswich, servin’ up the real deal – pies, mash, liquor, and a big dollop of Cockney charm.
